Aunt Susie and I traded shifts. Timothy has been asleep most of the time since I arrived around 4:30. Susie said they had had him sitting on the edge of the bed, and it had really tired him. He did wake long enough for me to say hello, and he squeezed my hand and raised each of his legs for me. Then he got restless for awhile and tore a hole in his air mattress. They are replacing that now. His right leg has a brace with several sharp points on it, and he really gets to moving those legs.

I appreciate this blog. It helps to understand and to keep aprised of Tim's progress. It sounds so much better than one would expect. Please know you all have been in my thoughts and prayers.

What Great News. Way To Progress Tim!! And... Those air beds are so Not Comfy..I know they have their purposes, but I don't think any hospital bed is comfy. You are doing so good...Keep it up. Have you given Tim a dry Erase board to write or draw on? When Tucker was doing better, that's what his docs did. He first just scribbled pictures and designs, he would cause himself to giggle about his pictures. His writing became better in time, but it helped him communicate with us, the squeezes were good, but the writing and drawing was good too.
